Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Tone Correcting Tinted Moisturizer Review

Neutrogena Tone Correcting Moisture

I love the concept of this product. Being able to knock out skin care and your foundation with a single product is a dream come true. The SPF protection is just bonus. Unfortunately, for me, this product did not live up to expectations.

What it Does

Overall, I was very disappointed with this product. I found that it easily wiped off, even light touches to my face would remove some of the product. The directions say you can reapply as needed, but this would have me reapplying every time I went to the bathroom. The smell was very off putting as well. Even at the end of the day I could smell an overwhelming sunscreen odor.

I was also unhappy with the feel of the product. It had a greasy texture to it that that made me feel shiny all day. I could never get the tint to look right on me, I just looked like my face was dirty. Too much and my face just looked orange and too little and I did not feel like I was getting any benefit out of it.

I was actually happy with the moisturizing part of this. It also did not clog up my pores or cause any kind of breakouts. The SPF 30 probably worked as advertised, but I did not really test that part of it. The container was of good quality and never had any worries using it while traveling.

Worth the Price

For me, this is not something I would buy again. Between the weird smell, coloring, greasiness and difficulties with the application I would continue looking for a new tinted moisturizer.

If you were tanner and maybe dryer skin, this might work for you though. This product does seem to have pretty great reviews and everyone is different.

This goes for right around $18 for 1 oz so is about average in price for a tinted moisturizer.
